ROMA The selections for the Leonardo Award held last September 2018 included IMAGENSYS – a company entrusted to the TTO of PHD TT – as shortlisted candidates for the “Leonardo Start up 2018 Award”
Starting from 2012, the Leonardo Italian Quality Committee promotes the Special Start-up Award, which is added to the acknowledgments already conferred by the Leonardo Committee: the Leonardo Award, the Leonardo Qualità Italia Awards, the Leonardo International Award and the Career Award.
At the “Leonardo Start up Award” can access the start-ups constituted by no more than 5 years that have won, in the reference year, national and international competitions.
The start-ups, chosen among the winners of the leading Italian and foreign startup competitions, are evaluated by a group of experts. The awarding process is coordinated by the Ministry of Economic Development, the Leonardo Committee and the ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies .
The winner is chosen based on an assessment that takes into account the innovation, the contribution to the construction of an image of Italy in the world, and the ability to be inspiration for the new generations. The Prize will be awarded to the winner at the Quirinale by the President of the Republic on the occasion of the “Giornata della Qualità Italia”, which will take place at the beginning of 2019.
