LECCE. The international workshop “Technology Transfer in Nanotechnology: Challenges and Opportunity” is held on October 18th and 19th at the CNR Nanotec headquarters in Lecce. Event organized by the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in collaboration with the National Research Council, as part of the TTO Circle initiatives, the network of technology transfer offices of the 31 most important research centers in Europe.
The event aims to explore technology transfer activities in support of European industry, especially start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises, in the implementation, adoption and economic exploitation of nanotechnologies.
The workshop will therefore be an opportunity for discussion about the opportunities and problems inherent to technology transfer activities in this sector. The presence of industries, research centers, universities and policy makers will make it possible to provide policy recommendations and suggest actions, at national and European level, aimed at facilitating the adoption of nanotechnologies by the European manufacturing industry.
